E-commerce Specialist / eBay Listing / Product Description Writer

Hours are flexible but we ask that you commit to a weekly schedule, what that schedule is - we allow you to choose, 5 days per week. Some flexibility is available as to which 5 days you work. You will work from your home office to start, possible future in office location.



The Job:
As a E-commerce Specialist / eBay Listing / Product Description Writer, you will work closely with our amazing online and warehouse team to create & submit unique product descriptions for each product on each site. You will also write Category Descriptions and Meta Information for everything you write. We’re looking for a smart, well-organized, driven person who has excellent English writing skills and thrives on taking pride in their work.

Our ideal candidate has excellent online research skills and a thorough understanding of SEO, Meta writing, and keywords, combined with communication skills for when you need to ask our warehouse associates for additional information about a product. You are extremely flexible as we are a growing business and still figuring out all of our systems and able to work independently while a being a cooperative team member.

Responsibilities:

- Adopt the tone of each site in order to convey our brand and personality using category and product descriptions.
- Work Quickly and deliver.
- Learn to navigate our website and multiple internal software systems
- Learn product front to back to efficiently write product descriptions
- Maintain a positive attitude throughout all customer and team interactions

Qualifications:
- Tech-savvy
- Proactive & able to ask questions when unsure
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Proficient in Google Docs / Sheets / Excel / Etc.
- Basic understanding of SEO and Keywords
- Experience writing product descriptions for an e-commerce store
