JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking an experienced, friendly and results oriented Part Time to Full Time telephone ‘sales’ person to join our team to help us build our U.S. supplier base for our ecommerce business. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a winning team with a fast growing US based company.

The person in this position will call and email U.S. manufacturers and distributors and be responsible for negotiating and opening wholesale accounts with them to help grow the business. There is nothing to sell and the calls are friendly. We will provide the directories and other sources to call from as well as training necessary to answer any questions that might come up. The candidate will enter the information into our system (Asama and/or Google Sheets and/or Hubspot), make the calls, send emails, fill out any paperwork necessary to open accounts and keep track of the progress and outcome and then record brief notes on the outcome.
Opportunity to further develop and go full time based on your success in the role.
This position is PT, 3-4 hours each day to start Monday – Friday, US time.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Have a FLUENT command of English language, both written and spoken.
• A fast and reliable internet connection for the Skype calls to the US.
• Be able to work at night since these are B2B calls to the US during normal business hours.
• Good communicator
• Results oriented
• Organized and detail oriented
• Have a great attitude and be a loyal team player.
• Be reliable and dependable.
• Provide daily end of day progress updates
• Be able to use Google Sheets and/or experience with or willingness to be trained in the use of Asana project management software.

• Good phone etiquette
• Experience opening accounts is a plus
• Experience working for Amazon wholesale business is a plus
