Web Developer / Graphic Designer

A US based Internet marketing firm in need of a Web Developer/Designer and who is highly skilled and is familiar with the newest techniques, trends and web designs.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

-Be responsible for completing banner ads, set up websites using wordpress, designing and completing all landing pages.

-Be responsible for graphic design and wireframes for websites.

-Be responsible for performing necessary maintenance to company and client websites, blogs and associated web pages.

-Be responsible for completing any additional web design related tasks as assigned by Marketing Director

-Be responsible for implementing quality control standards and checklists as created by Marketing Director

? Projects will also involve developing, running, maintaining and promoting multiple sites using Wordpress and similar CMS.

? Must be readily available by cell phone or Skype during work hours

? Be able to follow directions and must meet ALL deadlines. (NO EXCUSES. Missing deadlines and being unavailable is grounds for immediate termination) Nature and Scope

? Full Time – minimum 30 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

Possession of your own computer and reliable Internet connection
Have an basic understanding of on-site SEO, off-site SEO experience a plus
Advanced knowledge of the following: Adobe: Illustrator/Photoshop/Dreamweaver
Have a good working knowledge of: HTML, FTP, CSS, PHP, AJAX, JavaScript, MySQL,
Extensive Knowledge of Wordpress Prior knowledge of PPC helpful but not required as training is provided Some Copywriting skill is useful

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies

Proficient use of the English language, orally and in written format
Has the ability to learn quickly, keep up with industry standards, new technology, skills and techniques, as well as rapidly before familiar with new applications Must be dependable, detail oriented, and be capable of working unsupervised and meeting strict deadlines

Education Required

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job

Compensation

Salary is negotiable, depending upon your skill level and experience.
