Who are we looking for?
A virtual assistant who can help us expand and expose our blog to as many targeted visitors as possible, in order to promoting and recruiting a large number of members to join our community.




What are we doing, what have we done, and what are we going to do?

My wife and I joined this community almost 4 months ago and we have seen the opportunity and potential of growth working with them. Therefore, we would like to put more efforts to promote this product through a highly efficient and effective viral blogging system.

Since we joined this community, we have started blogging daily and done a little marketing to promote this program.


As of today, March 24, 2013, we have posted over 150 articles in our blog and we are adding at least one post per day.


However, in order to taking our business to the next level, we need to put much more efforts to promote this program, both content creation and marketing.


Since I am currently a full time engineer (for over 35 years), my time for being able to work on internet marketing is very limited. And I would like to have someone to help my wife do all those detailed and miscellaneous stuff.


And this is the reason why we are looking for a virtual assistant.




Our online background


We got involved with internet marketing a little over 2 years ago as my part time expedition, and hopefully can be my hobby/entertainment after I am retired from my full time job in the very near future.


We purchased and studied a lot of programs, but never be very serious about applying what we have learned to make extra incomes-until now.


Most programs we’ve learned are SEO related, so we know most tactics of it, even if we have not really applied them.


We know most paid traffic and have done some of them, but we don’t intend to focus on this aspect because of the issue of cost.


We know very little and have done very little of social media, and we need to put more effort on this aspect.




What will we focus on?


Blogging (create quality content):

Create more quality content blogs each day: we would like to post more than 1 blog per day. One of them is what we are creating right now, value content post, and the others will be more product promoting related articles.


All articles should have proper inbound links, outbound links, internal links, images, videos, and monetization.


Marketing (tell others):


Tell others about our blog through all natural, whitehat SEO, such as social media posting, document (slides, ebooks, audios, videos, etc.) sharing, article submissions, video submissions, press releases, social bookmarks, syndication, comments, etc.


We would not get involved with any blackhat SEO.




What help do we need from you (your job description)?


Once you are hired, you will be one of our family members and we will work together closely.

Your jobs:



Regarding Blogging (create quality content):

1. Listen to the audios we give to you and transcribe a few note-worthy points to be posted in the blog. We’ll provide you 1 to 3 audios per week and you should be able to generate 1 to 3 posts from each audio. That’s 1 to 9 posts per week. I would expect an average of 4 posts created by you per week.

Each audio is between 1 and 2 hours long and each post is between 500 and 800 words.

In addition to those articles posted by you, my wife and I will continue creating the regular articles daily.

2. Collect images and videos for each post created by you or us including those posts created before if they still need additional tweaks.


Regarding Marketing (tell others):

1. Create individual slide (PowerPoint) file from each single post in the blog.

2. Transfer PowerPoint file of each post to a video and add voice by reading the content of each slide. Then insert a short recorded video section (provided) to the beginning and the end of each video. Either you or we will produce these short video sections.

3. Create individual PDF, image, etc. from each single post in the blog.

4. Upload all these documents (slides, PDF, image, video, etc.) to as many document sharing web 2.0 and social media websites as possible.

5. Create 2 to 3 additional videos (1 to 5 minutes each, simple but targeted) each week based on what you learn from the product and post them on YouTube and all other video sharing sites. Video marketing is one of our major marketing tactics and we may increase the amount to at least 1 video per day in the near future.

6. Article submission: we will provide you most information and materials for you to create articles. You don’t need to write your own articles on most occasions in the beginning. However, you are welcome to write them if you feel confident to do such job in the future.


a. Based on the materials we provide, you sort them through and create articles to be submitted to Unique Article Wizard (UAW, we have an account) 3 or 4 times per week. We will provide you the information of how to do this sorting step. Each submission should take less than 1 and half hours to complete once the material has been prepared ahead.


b. Re-write each sentence of some articles to almost 100% unique, and submit them to 6 to 10 major article directories such as ezinearticles, articlebase, buzzle, goarticles, etc, which UAW does not submit to, at least 1 or 2 articles per week.


c. Search and contact targeted high traffic blogging sites and suggest writing guest posts on their sites. The goal is to write 1 or 2 guest posts per week.



d. Write up press release articles and submit them to 3 or 4 major sites once per week.

7. Create and maintain social media accounts:
Open accounts on most major social network sites under our name and maintain them to generate viral marketing promoting our products.

8. Comments on web 2.0, blogger’s sites, forum sites, edu. sites, etc.

9. All other effective, miscellaneous SEO tactics such as ping, RSS, profile directory, like, share, etc.

10. All extra good marketing methods you know about.

11. No blackhat SEO, please. We only want ethical assistant.




What do we expect from you?

Of course we hope you are able to work on everything smoothly and independently after you join us, but we understand nobody is perfect and we can’t expect you to know everything in the beginning.

We will give you as much instructions as we can. We will teach you and give you time to learn to overcome your insufficient areas, but we also can’t wait too long to see productive outcome from you.

After all, we would like to see our investment on you is well worth it.

We also would like to see you are creative and able to suggest us any good business ideas, as much as being teachable and willing to learn new things.

You will work 40+ hours a week and dedicate your time fully to our tasks and nobody else’s.



What will we do to help you help us achieve the goal?

1. We will continue posting a regular article ourselves per day and we will be responsible for posting the articles you create with all attached media such as images and videos.

2. We will send out emails to our prospects to convert them to be our customers.

3. We will provide you as much information as we can to help you get on the track ASAP.

4. As time goes by, we may transfer these tasks to you once we feel you are the person we can rely upon.




Who are qualified for this job?

1. You need to feel comfortable for being able to perform those tasks as mentioned in “What help do we need from you (your job description)?”

2. You need to be teachable and ethical, patient and consistent, effective and efficient. We appreciate your personality more than your skills.

3. You need to be in the internet marketing for at least 2 years and have done a fair amount of SEO. Sorry, we can’t afford to train a newbie at this moment.

4. Your English, both writing and speaking, needs to be near perfect and American English is preferable. You should have little or no accent.

5. You need to be good working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF, audio and video creating/editing, and other helpful tools.

6. You need to feel confident writing blogs and articles. Your writing skill should be good enough to write articles to be accepted by ezinearticles or other major article directories.

7. You need to be comfortable creating audios and videos for being published.

8. You need to know how to get the most out of social networks.

9. You need to be flexible with taking new assignments and learning new skills.




Who should not apply for this job?

1. If you are not teachable and do not like to learn new things.

2. If you insist using blackhat methods to promote SEO.

3. If your qualifications do not meet at least 7 items mentioned in “Who are qualified for this job?” above.



How do we communicate after you are hired?

1. Email will be our major communication tool.

2. You need to report your progress and status via emails at least 3 times daily in the first 1 or 2 months. We will provide you a form for you to fill out to help us understand your progress and status and give you appropriate instructions when we see the necessity.

3. You will be a full time worker and we expect you to work 40+ hours per week. If you need a little working hour flexibility, that’s okay too but you need to inform us at least 48 hours ahead if it’s possible.

4. If necessary, we will post a private video on YouTube for you to watch and give you clear instructions.

5. We do not communicate by skype at this moment.



Is this a long term job?

Yes or no, all depends on how well we can work together. If you are accepted to work with us, then we will give you at least 2 weeks of time to show us how well you can help.

If we feel you are a good fit to our needs after these 2-week testing period, then we will hire you month by month for up to few years.


Of course, either side can terminate the collaboration anytime.



How much do we pay and how will you be paid?

It’s between $250 and $500 per month and is negotiable, all depends on your qualifications. We will pay you via the method you prefer except cash since this has US tax laws involved. However, we do prefer PayPal if you are able to create an account.

4. Upload this video to YouTube in private mode and inform us the video URL in the same email you send us those slides.



How soon do we need you to come onboard?

As soon as we go through these interview steps and we feel you are the right person we are looking for, then we need you to come onboard as soon as you are available. We expect to get this opening filled within 2 weeks.
