Job Summary

We are a small prints and canvasses design business seeking to hire a creative Graphic Designer with experience and technical know-how in both electronic and print media. We are looking for someone with up-to-date knowledge and the ability to understand our clients’ requirements and design solutions with high visual impact. We are interested in a person who can quickly take direction from spoken or written ideas and transform them flawlessly into layouts, images, and other designs.

You will work on various products such as magazines, books, websites, product packaging, corporate identity, exhibitions, and so on. The successful candidate should have a proper understanding of the print and canvass field to meet our clients’ needs. We intend to work in a busy and fast-paced location, so the perfect Graphic Designer should be someone ready to commence work immediately. Candidates with prime experience in graphic designing will be given priority.

Graphic Designer qualifications and skills
• Must have graphic designer training from a reputable educational institution.
• Must have adequate experience and ability to work with Illustrator, multimedia presentation, mockups, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Must have up to date information on JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience in professional commercial design, preferably in print and canvas field is an added advantage.
• Ability to work with WordPress templates and generate images and other layouts.
• Ability to take and use positive criticism from peers and clients.

Graphic Designer responsibilities and duties
• Work concurrently on five or more projects based on available clients’ workload
• Generate visual aspects of prints and canvasses material as well as infographics and other media materials
• Assemble other unrelated elements of a design created by other parties, such as photographs, icons, and other vital components in a print and canvass business.
• Refer to customers’ copywriting, marketing, and sales teams to develop interconnected designs that reflect their company values and goals.
• You must submit and report your daily accomplishment at the end of each project.
• Be ready to do a designer shop from scratch before commencing on marketing work at a later stage.
• Will receive bonuses for hard work.
