Web Developer

We are looking for someone with experience coding Wordpress themes and plugins. We have an immediate requirement and an ongoing requirement as we are going to be creating a lot of content. The position will entail:
 
Phase 1 - immediate
 
1. Backup of existing site content (over 100 pages)
2. Theme development using ThemeForest Flare on a development system
3. Build existing Wordpress content into new Wordpress theme (structure to be supplied)
4. Install new plugins and test
5. Basic Photoshop knowledge for minor modifications to current designs
6. Basic SEO work on content
7. Create and format new pages
8. Replace original site with new site (copy across from development site)
 
Phase 2 - ongoing (ideas at this stage - looking to develop)
 
1. Basic SEO work on content
2. Create and format new pages
3. Facebook page development (several from different business streams)
4. Mini web site creation (Wordpress either Thesis or Flare themes)
5. Loading and managing YouTube video content
6. Basic video editing
7. Managing Twitter accounts
8. Managing Facebook fan pages
 
Contractor requirements
 
We want someone who’s skilled and can take responsibility quickly. In addition, we’re seeking:
 
1. Good working knowledge and experience in WordPress, HTML and CSS
2. Ability to build new Wordpress sites
3. Technical knowledge for maintaining websites
4. Basic on-page Search Engine Optimization knowledge for coding
5. Basic video editing experience
6. Good command of English
