BACKGROUND
Wadimedia is an online marketing and training organisation based in Melbourne Australia. We provide online services to clients such as content marketing, web development, social media training and much more.
We have been operating for three years with Wes Ward (the owner) running the business, marketing and providing services to clients. He runs his own projects as well.
The company has evolved and specialises in Content Marketing [creating content that people love, and publishing it on our blogs and promoting the content on social media and online and offline press releases]. We are providing workshops and consultation advice to companies on content marketing.
Our website, ContentIgloo.com needs to have its content production managed from creation, production, editing, publishing and promoted. A person with a journalistic or editor-in-chief eye is a skill we are looking for.
Content Igloo has a blog, iPad magazine and podcast.
We do outsource tasks to team members on a project basis to handle the load. But we need someone full time to help us meet our content targets and manage our team members to ensure they are producing on a editorial schedule.
To that end, our first full time hire will be someone that wishes to be part of this organisation for some time. We are looking for someone that understands online marketing (youtube, seo, wordpress, email), is excellent VA/potential project manager (makes sure things get done) and understands producing great content is essential to our business (editor).
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for someone who:
• Is fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Can turn instructions from Wes into actions and follow up
• Can write excellent articles when required
• Can manage other people when required
• Has excellent customer services skills and attitude
• Is extremely professional both in quality of work, ability to learn and punctuality
• Happy to work with project management tool Trello
• Understands publishing
• Can you Photoshop to some degree
• Can delegate tasks
The person we are looking for will be highly organised, professional and efficient in they way they approach work, and above all, punctual.
You will most likely will have had previous experience in a customer services role and is fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Being a team player is essential to this role, as it is the beginning of building a highly skilled, well organised team of staff that are high achievers.
To succeed in this role, you need to be a superstar that wants to learn and wants to grow in this organisation. Training will be provided to the right person.
The career path for this role is most likely but not limited to:
1. Stage One – Documentation and process management, virtual assistant tasks, customer support, creating and editing content for blog and content igloo magazine.
2. Stage Two – Project Management: running teams to meet organisation goals
3. Stage Three – Business Management: running the business and the various project managers within it.
We are looking for a person that is a quick learner, highly skilled and intelligent that can solve problems quickly with excellent English. Someone who can take responsibility for tasks and projects assigned.
If you have skills in the following, they will be considered an advantage but not essential:
• Wordpress
• SEO
• Google docs
• Photoshop
• Video
• Project Management & Administration
• Business Management
• Any Leadership positions
• Journalism or editor-in-chief experience
Most importantly, we are looking for a person with high integrity, with world-class customer service and administration skills.

IMMEDIATE ROLE
The current job requires your ability to support Wes publishing great content and helping execute his content marketing plan and work with other outsourcers where necessary.
Equally important will be providing typical Virtual Assistant support to Wes in completing client projects, liaising with team members and assisting with marketing initiatives.
