Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our Australian client requires an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years experience. Very good long term career opportunity for the right candidate. This position can be from our Makati,Manila or San Fernando, Pampanga office.

*The successful candidate will provide Engineering design & drafting assistance to the project team.
*The position will involve the design & drafting of Mechanical Building Services.
*The successful candidate will work closely as a mentor to other team members to further develop their own design & documentation skills.
*The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the building services industry & be highly proficient using AutoCAD to produce Mechanical Building Services drawings.

Skills, Experience & Responsibility:

*5+ years plus experience within building services consultancy (Australian experience beneficial)
*A well-rounded knowledge across building services (Air Conditioning, Ductwork, Ventilation & general HVAC)
*Ability to select equipment and compile schedules
*Experience with chilled water systems
*Mechanical Engineering university qualifications
*Highly proficient using AutoCAD
*Knowledge of Australian Standards (Preferred) AS1668.1 and AS1668.2
*Cooling Load Calculations (Camel or Elite Software)
*Mentorship & coordination of junior team members
*Effective checking of work completed of individual work & fellow team
*Working continuously with the engineers to coordinate tasks and delivery of documentation
*Strong English skills
*Strong communications skills
*Time management & organisational skills
*Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
