Description of Responsibilities

About the Company

Leverage Assessments is an agile team of Industrial Psychologists, Psychometricians and Technologists who specialize in the development and validation of skills based, psychometrically designed employment selection tests. We enjoy problem solving to develop customized solutions for clients in several different industries; to include, Public Safety (Fire, Police, and Private Security), Education, and Information Technology. We provide psychometric services for test companies who are pursuing/maintaining ISO 17024 accreditation, designing/validating new test content, building foundations; such as a job or practice analysis for existing credentials, certifications and other test programs.

We provide recommendations, support, and feedback for industry clients who would like to evaluate and increase the effectiveness of their selection and promotional tests.

We pride ourselves on providing unique customized solutions for our local (US based) and international clients (worldwide).

Responsibilities
• Documenting the research findings for psychometric practices (e.g, item analysis, reliability analysis, distractor analysis, adverse impact analysis).
• Using Excel and SPSS to run analyses verifying client and company research results.
• Searching google, EBSCO, and other databases for research articles which provide supporting evidence for client recommendations.
• Communicating with project managers to determine the effectiveness of plans and solution implementation strategies.
• Finding relevant articles and using software, such as Hootsuite to manage social media posts.
• Synthesizing information from Test Development related publications, such as SIOP, IAACP, APA, and other related organizations.
• Seeking applications and technology solutions that can automate processes.
• Brainstorming for the buildout of test administration platforms.
• Reviewing content for the website, for client deliverables and marketing materials.
• Utilizing standardized guidelines such as the ones below, as well resources available online.
o Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing
o Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures
• Assisting with business development tasks (e.g., research, Upwork, events, etc.)
Requirements
Knowledge of:
• Microsoft Office Suite Package (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher).
• methods for managing social media, branding and imaging.
• research methods via EBSCO, Library, Google Search.
• methods for citing research.
• methods for analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
Skills in:
• Document writing.
• Research.
• Review materials for technical accuracy, spelling and grammar.
Ability to:
• Read and understand documents and reports (e.g., validation reports, task analysis reports).
• learn about a variety of jobs in other industries.
Experience
• in research
• literature review
Education
• Some college credits in testing, measurement, psychology, and/or statistics
Other Qualifications
• Ability and desire to learn new methods
