Podcast Editor and Writer

I'm looking for an english speaking podcast producer to edit, write show notes, and upload a podcast every week.

Important skills: Excellent English Speaking, Good Audio Editing, Excellent writing skills, basic wordpress knowledge.

Tasks include

Audio Editing - Edit our weekly hour long audio podcast (editing out background noises, boring moments, pasting in a provided intro/outro, and clipping out 20 - 30s samples to be used for promotion,)

Write up (Great english required) - Roughly 1000 word write up about the episode with links provided summarizing the episode. (mostly used for SEO)

Uploading - uploading the podcast to wordpress and libsyn. (Ideally you have expirience using wordpress, Libsyn, the podcast uploading service I can teach you very quickly

Timing - The episodes will be recorded in bulk, every other month, you will be tasked to ensure episodes are uploaded and scheduled 2 weeks in advance.

The podcast topic is VERY interesting. The more you engage and learn about the topic, the better you will be at your job (knowledge for the audio you clip out for promotion, and what to edit out of an episode). Ideally you have worked with podcast audio before. I am replacing a fantastic employee who has worked for me for a year, and was hired by a large company. I am very easy to work with particularly if everything is on time.
