JOB OVERVIEW

We're a US-based company that provides web design, marketing, and mobile app development services. We’re looking to hire a general virtual assistant.

We’re looking for someone who is:
1. A super savvy internet user
2. Great at following detailed instructions without missing any steps
3. A clear and frequent communicator
4. Not afraid to ask questions if you don’t understand the task/project
5. Not afraid to tell me right away if there’s a problem

Some of the projects you'll be working on include:
1. Helping with general tasks and projects. Some of our clients are small businesses, and some are marketing and public relations agencies.
2. Building and formatting Powerpoint presentations with lots of attention to detail (being proficient at PowerPoint is a must)
3. Finding sales leads for new clients
5. Marketing research
6. Website design/build with Squarespace/Wix/Shopify (training will be provided)
7. Potentially some personal assistant tasks
8. Other new projects (we’re a growing business, so there will be many new challenges!)

We’re looking for a full-time employee for a long-term working relationship where you can learn and grow with us.

If you’re interested, please send your resume and answers to the following:

1. How many hours per week are you available?
2. What are your preferred working times? Are you able to talk 2-3 times per week sometime 8am-1pm?
3. If you have work samples for PowerPoint or Photoshop, can you send them? If not, please tell me about your experience with each (if any).
4. Are you able to do a Skype video call?
5. Are you able to do a 1-hour trial task?
6. What do you look for in a job (e.g. likes, dislikes, etc.)?
7. How fast is your internet connection? What kind of computer do you have?
8. How often does your area have power or internet outages? How long do they typically last?
9. Will you be working from home or at an internet cafe?
10. What city do you live in?
11. What hourly rate are you seeking? Please tell me a rate that would make you happy. (I don’t want unhappy employees who don’t like working because the rate is too low. I’m looking for something potentially long-term, with raises/bonuses in the future. Happy employees are better for everyone!)
12. Do you currently have another job? If so, how many hours do you currently work?
13. If hired, when can you start?
14. What is your monthly salary expectation for full-time, 40 hours per week?
15. If you have a question about a project but I'm not available to answer, what would you do?
16. How can I make this a good work experience for you?
17. Any questions for me right now?

Thank you and looking forward to speaking with you!
