Fulltime Web Developer / Team Manager

The Web Developer will be responsible for developing websites and web applications, including all aspects of development process like creating specification documents with clear project deliverable and timelines, and ensuring timely completion of deliverable.

• Create the programming code for the websites to meet business or project requirements (from scratch and/or from existing)
• Implement designs and other creative output on the websites
• Test the websites and identify technical problems and resolve any in a timely manner
• Upload and ensure continued smooth operation of websites on the company or client’s web server
• Update existing websites
• Stay updated with advances in computer technology and online trends and adapt them into present or future work

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Previous experience in Custom CMS site development
• Familiarity in integrating websites with other web applications and systems, both commercial and open-source
• Turning design and UI mockups into functional websites
• High level of experience with HTML/XHTML/CSS
• Web programming experience, including PHP, SQL, ASP, JSP
• Experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of SQL
• Required skill(s): AJAX, JQuery, HTML 5, Java, PHP, CSS

SKILLS:

FRONT END DEVELOPMENT

• HTML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS skills, Web graphic production
• AJAX / JavaScript (Common APIs such as jQuery and Prototype)
• Mobile / Tablet Optimized

Desired knowledge or expertise
• iOS / Android / Blackberry application development
• JSP / ASP / PHP / Integration

Software package expertise
• Adobe CS production suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash)
• IE 6+, Firefox, Safari and Chrome Browsers on Mac and PC

BACK END DEVELOPMENT

• Knowledge of a programming language for a framework such as PHP, Ruby (Ruby on Rails)
• Background in CSS, AJAX, C, JQuery, HTML, HTML 5
• Experience in website development, CMS, E-commerce (Magento), software/app testing and implementation
• Database design and development. ERD and SQL query formulation
• Experience in open source e-commerce and online store management
• Ability to integrate various 3rd party applications such as Payment Gateway (Paypal, eWay, Mastercard/Visa, etc), Shipping APIs, Google Apps (Calendar, Maps etc), Social Media APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, etc), E-Newsletter Marketing (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, iContact)

OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge in iOS/Android App creation is a plus.
• Strong QA experience required
• Experience in integrating Google tools and services, such as Analytics and Adwords.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload and prioritize multiple projects.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in IT/Web Development
• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
