WEB Designer

The web designer must love conceptualizing and bringing ideas to realization. The person would be part of a pioneering team, developing a startup idea to be launched in the next couple of months. Working fast with minimal supervision in a small group without hesitating to share opinions is ideal

Responsibilities of the job include:
Creating website designs that are user-friendly, effective, appealing and consistent with the company branding.
Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to system developers
Attending meetings to discuss requirements and/or project progress
Demonstrating and receiving feedback about draft sites
Keeping up to date with recent technological and software developments
Developing skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages such as HTML and Javascript
Digital retouching and image editing
The web designer must have the following skills and traits:
Basic branding experience
Experience collaborating with web developers and marketing professionals
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
Proven work experience as a web designer
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Ability to convey ideas to both tech and non-tech personnel.
Honest and promptly updates the team on project progress and issues, if any.
Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies.
