Local Furniture Outlet is seeking a customer service agent for our eCommerce business unit. This candidate will be responsible for providing customers with assistance via phone and
Ideal candidates will need to have a positive attitude and a dedication to providing superior customer service and support. Desired qualifications include experience in retail sales, as well as a general awareness of home decor styles. Experience in the home furnishing industry is preferred. This is a great position for somebody who is looking to join a rapidly growing company.
Duties Include:
Level 1
• Answer phone calls and forward to the proper personnel or take the message(s)
• Call customers to confirm delivery times
• Upload daily/weekly inventory stock CSV files from vendors
• Contact vendors for product data (images/info)
• Process online orders
• Coordinate logistics with freight carrier(s) and vendor(s)
• Assist customers with finance options
• Process and handle claims
• Follow up with the customer(s) on their experience
• Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone,
Level 2 (After 3 Month Proven Track Record) - Commission Opportunity
• Assisting customers in finding the right products to meet their needs.
• Answering questions with regards to products and services such as materials used, dimensions, assembly, shipping and company policies, etc. (We will provide the necessary training and support to ensure competency).
• Suggestive selling, cross-selling and additions to help complete the entire decor.
Requirements:
• Computer Literacy: Proficient in web navigation,
• Presentation: Friendly, outgoing attitude with the ability to gain rapport with prospective clients.
• Strong verbal communication: Clear English-speaking voice.
• Excellent written communication: Spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Positive attitude.
• Experience in furniture sales and/or home interior related field.
• High School Diploma minimum.
• Ability to maintain a professional & courteous demeanor at all times.
• Strong internet connection.
• Able to work in US time zones.
• Must be committed to a full-time job with no additional project going past 10 hours a week.

• Self-starter, with the ability to work well with others using tact and diplomacy
• Quick and accurate typing skills
• Ability to effectively multitask many responsibilities and projects
