JOB OVERVIEW

Major Goal: Responsible for managing, growing, and optimizing organic search engine across Google & Bing, web directories, and search-related opportunities to maximize profit for our Clients. Provides strategic roadmap, measurement plan, guidance and direction to the SEO team and manages the productivity of the department, including workflow prioritization.

Reports to: CEO
Time Commitment: Full Time

Key Result Area One: Managing the Entire Team

This role will be satisfactorily accomplished when:

Overseeing the recruitment for new talent
Ensuring the adequate upskilling, initial training and skill set development for all team members.
Implementation of all processes for Onsite and Offsite best practices.
Creating staff meeting to address issues and opportunities that arise.
Conduct Bi-Annually Performance review of all team members.
Streamline and implement processes to create efficiencies within the Performance team.
Help train the team on new tactics, initial training and skill set development for all team members.
From concept to completion, ensure that all timelines and deliverables are met.

Key Result Area Two: Managing and Enhancing SEO Tactics

This role will be satisfactorily accomplished when:

Maintain a 5% link acquisition for all outreach programs for link building.
Exploring new ways to acquire links that will impact client rankings positively.
Addressing correlations with data to find opportunities for improvement in all link building activities, such as outreach, link scraping, email open rates, Private Blog Networks, etc.
Staying current with emerging technologies, understand how they affect search engine algorithm

Key Result Area Three: Analyzing and assessing results/data

This role will be satisfactorily accomplished when:

Develop historical benchmarks for each client and measure against current overall SEO health of the site to verify the success of the campaign in achieving client marketing goals and ranking growth for money keywords.
Analyze all site designs and provide recommendations, as appropriate, that would result in increased organic ranking and visibility in search results.
Provides monthly reports on direction and appropriate recommendations to digital strategist (e.g. Additional onsite content, content marketing, increased monthly hours/budget and reputation management) to enhance the property’s digital presence and revenue.
Assisting in the content creation process, especially within the content planning stages.
Ongoing monthly SEO reports for the digital strategist and client with detailed notes on the analysis and recommendations if any.
