ABOUT EZPACKING
We are a family owned eCommerce company based in California. We create high quality travel and organization products geared toward helping travelers (especially moms) organize for their trips. We strive to provide our community with friendly customer service and useful information to help them on their trips.
Our goal is to help travelers stay organized on their trip, at home, and on-the-go. A big part of helping our customers is educating them and teaching them about traveling with kids, organization tips and helpful travel hacks.
We are a small team and we strive to create a positive work environment where everyone is constantly learning and growing. We support our virtual assistants by providing them with a flexible schedule, interesting and engaging tasks and a culture where we look to bring out the best in each other.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Is completely fluent in oral and written English (USA)
- Over two years job experience in eCommerce/VA work
- Has strong communication skills
- Is willing to learn new tools and processes
- Can work 40 hours per week
- Is a creative thinker
- Is detail oriented
- Is a problem solver and doesn’t need hand holding for every task
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
- Is looking for professional growth. We currently have two other VAs and know that our team will continue growing. We want someone who can grow with us and potentially rise to become a manager within the company.
Here's a glimpse into a typical week on the job:
- Writing 2-3 blog posts (topics include travel, motherhood, organization)
- Writing and sending our weekly newsletter
- Writing e-book content for customers and prospects
- Answering customer
Work related to the above tasks:
- Finding stock photography
- Helping with keyword research and our content strategy
Other work we need help with:
- Preparing our Instagram calendar by writing engaging captions
- Researching new bloggers/influencers to work with
- A few other administrative tasks
Our content is geared towards women ages 25-50 and focuses on travel, organizing and motherhood. We want someone who is passionate about these topics. If you love writing about Game of Thrones, this job might not be for you (but we are big GoT fans too). If you are a great writer but have never done some of the tasks listed above, we are more than happy to teach you!
COMPANY BENEFITS
1. Flexible work hours:
You can work from home or wherever is most comfortable for you. You can also complete tasks on your own time as long as submitted by the agreed on due dates. Due dates will be assigned from Monday - Friday, but you can work any day of the week.
We want you to be able to live a normal life. Please work in your local time zone, no need to work US hours.
2. Open to hearing new ideas:
We are a team here at EzPacking and we want our VA’s to feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas with us. Many of our articles and content ideas have come from our current VA’s!
3. Room for growth in the company:
We anticipate growing our team in the next year and want to promote from within. We are open to giving more company responsibility to you after we have seen consistent growth within this current role.
