Internet Event Design Coordinator

MyBackyard, LLC is launching a social networking site and mobile app that is designed to help cultivate togetherness in community by promoting face-to-face interaction between neighbors and friends. MyBackyard will launch in June throughout the metro Denver area in Colorado.

One of the key features we will provide is a metro area city event page and calendar. The job we are hiring for, Internet Event Design Coordinator, will be responsible for researching event information using multiple third party sites, and recreating these events on the MyBackyard platform. Our platform has an admin interface that allows us to create events by filling in fields for Title, Description, Date, Times, Address, images, and urls for the facility that is hosting the event.

We will provide multiple venue and city websites that the employee will use to source all events. We will be targeting community events in each of the cities that make up the Metro Denver Area. Events like Farmer's Markets, Art Festivals, Charity Events, Community Events, Concerts, Theater etc.

Basic Job Requirements:
-Website research for applicable city and community events.
-Most of the data input will utilize copy and paste functions, copying from the vendor or city event page into our event design form.
-Additional research to discover other city sites with additional event will be necessary.
-Accuracy and efficiency are key job requirements.
-Creating a log and record of source sites and checking back into those sites prior to each event to determine if the event has changed or cancelled is required.
-Basic database skills required, however the technical requirements are minimal.
-Understanding of community social event pages is a plus.
-Good English speaking and comprehension skills are required for interacting with manager and understanding training.
-Communication would be handled through Skype. Colorado is ---------- -6 (14 hours difference). Training and once-per-week meetings would be required to begin at either 6AM or 9PM your local time.
-Computer, Highspeed Internet Access, Skype Account, and earbuds or headset are required.
-Monthly Salary: $350 USD/month plus bonuses and 13th month payment
-Start Date: Immediately
-Job Duration: Permanent Monday-Friday
-Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 6AM - 3PM PHT (Philippines Time Zone) (flexible and negotiable)
