WEB / GRAPHIC DESIGNER WANTED FOR AUSTRALIAN COMPANY (Work from Home)

Small Australian based web development company who caters for small business is looking for a web / graphic designer.
I'm looking for a graphic and web designer to design modern looking websites of any kind of business, mobile sites and the related graphic art (logos, icons, buttons, etc) and possibly html emails.


This is a work-from-home opportunity. You Must have reliable internet connection and a Skype account for communication.


Applicants must have the following requirements:

- Good in English Communication skills.
- Should submit updated resume
- Should submit portfolio work for evaluation purposes
- Must meet deadlines for all assignments/projects
- Must be willing to take a test to evaluate skills set, before getting hired. This will prove that you are capable for the work assigned.
- Must be able to convert PSD to WordPress.
- Must always available and can communicate thru SKYPE

Job Qualifications:

1. WordPress (all static websites will be designed and coded using WordPress)

You must be talented in creating all of the following:

Logos
Complete Websites (PSD + HTML)
WordPress Themes (PSD + WordPress)
Reponsive Layout Websites
Mobile Websites
Banners
Headers
Email Creatives
PSD to HTML
PSD to WordPress

We will employ someone who can,

- Communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
- Demonstrate in depth knowledge of Wordpress in a variety of situations.
- Keep Wordpress sites, themes, and plugins up to date and running smoothly.
- Have a strong knowledge of HTML, CSS
- Use cPanel, PhpMyAdmin, and FTP.
- Improve website formatting and layout.
- Monitor site performance, troubleshoot bugs, and optimise where necessary.
- Show an ability to work efficiently, cooperatively, and to meet deadlines.
- Think critically and make wise decisions independently.

Job Duties and Requirements:

** Design & Convert PSD file into Wordpress with added functionality and plugin.
** Create High Artistic Website, Mobile, and Mobi Graphic Designs in PSD or other formats
** Solve and Troubleshoot existing websites developed Wordpress
** Fix Themes / Skins
** Perform custom CMS development and plugin edits for custom application
** Knows JQuery within CMS
** Perform new CMS installation and move CMS site from one server to another
** Slicing PSDs and converting into HTML / CSS
** Creative Layout Design for print & websites

Attendance and Communication:

** Skype must be always online during working time
** Daily Status Report must be submitted
** Strong Work Ethics, Hard Worker, and Independent
** Frequent communication is a MUST

What you will be doing day to day:

• Installing Wordpress
• Modifying/Customizing existing Wordpress Themes
o Style sheets
o Layouts
o Wordpress Plugins
o Making themes responsive
• Slicing PSD and coding to HTML/CSS
• Creating Wordpress Themes from HTML
• Setting up domain names to servers
• Setting up email addresses
• Mockups for new Wordpress and Mobile Sites
• Changes to existing sites



Compensation:

** Payment will be made through PAYPAL
** A trial project (paid) will be given to see your work ethic, your speed, and competency.

We will only hire someone who is proficient in Wordpress or other Web publishing tools. The right candidates should be able to work with different themes and plugins, should have an eye for good design and be able to solve website problems should they arise.
