Wordpress Webmaster Wanted

We're two American English teachers who have recently started a global online business that is growing fast. We help people become confident and fluent English speakers, and are passionate about what we do. We are looking for someone skilled at Wordpress and webpublishing to join our team and help our business grow.

We want to find someone equally passionate about their livelihood, who has a strong work ethic and good communication skills, who is punctual and attentive to detail, and who will be willing to make a long-term commitment to success.

The right candidate will be fully proficient in Wordpress. Being OK with Wordpress or having built one or two sites with Wordpress is not enough. The candidate should be able to work with a variety of themes and plugins, have a good feel for design, and be able to troubleshoot and solve problems when they arise.

The best candidate will be able to:

*Communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
*Demonstrate in depth knowledge of Wordpress in a variety of situations.
*Keep Wordpress sites, themes, and plugins up to date and running smoothly.
*Have a strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript/JQuery
*Use cPanel, PhpMyAdmin, and FTP.
*Improve website formatting and layout.
*Have an understanding of web usability.
*Monitor site performance, troubleshoot bugs, and optimize where necessary.
*Resize, crop, and edit images when necessary.
*Show an ability to work efficiently, cooperatively, and to meet deadlines.
*Think critically and make wise decisions independently.


Other desired qualities are experience with one or more of the following:

*e-commerce
*graphic design or web design
*Google Analytics
*Google Adwords and/or Adsense
*Search Engine Optimization
*Digital delivery software
*Shopping Cart / Affiliate software
*Customer service
*Video Editing
*Social Network Management
*Moodle

The position is a work-from-home opportunity. You must have a reliable internet connection and Skype with a webcam. The position will be initially granted on a part-time, limited term basis, with hours and payment negotiable. But if you are really the person we are looking for, the position could turn into full time employment, with opportunities for profit sharing and continuing professional development.
