Web Developer

We are seeking a Full Stack Web Developer with experience in Wordpress/WooCommerce, PHP, JavaScript, CSS and HTML5.

iChess.net / iChess.es is a rapidly growing eCommerce chess site in business for over 5 years working with remote teams.

Our revenue has doubled in the past 2 years and we need to hire several junior, mid-level, and senior front-end and back-end developers to continue accelerating our growth.

This Web Developer Job will start as part-time (est 15-20 hrs/wk) with the potential to progress to a full-time position with more responsibilities.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
*Raise iChess revenue by increasing traffic and/or conversion rates.
*Identify opportunities to improve the front-end design and back-end functionality of our website.
*Create and implement the code to make these changes and improvements.

Qualifications:
+ WordPress and WooCommerce experience
+ Front end development (CSS/HTML5) experience, specifically eCommerce shop UI/UX.
+ Back end development (PHP, Javascript)
+ Conversion Rate Optimization and SEO
+ Experience creating and editing child themes
+ Plugin development experience
+ Experience integrating with APIs like InfusionSoft and LeadPages (or similar email marketing tools)
+ Experience working with AWS
+ Basic devops knowledge (you need to be comfortable with Linux command line as we do not use cPanel)
+ A love of chess
