Wordpress Wizard with Linux Server Experience

We are a company that offers Wordpress Web Development and recurring Wordpress Management. We take on new WP projects on a regular basis, where we do custom plugins, custom themes and WP customizations for our clients.

We are looking for an experienced Wordpress Developer that can help us develop develop client sites, plugins and themes. One day you could be setting up Linux VPS servers and migrating sites. The next day you could building WordPress plugins and themes for one of our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will shift and grow but to start with the following:

- Development of new features, plugins and themes - frontend and backend
- Do regular Wordpress maintenance - work on a linux server to run backup scripts, check server health, update plugins and check that everything works
- Set up, maintain and migrate various Linux VPS servers

REQUIREMENTS:

- 3 to 5 years experience in application/software development
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, etc.
- Strong experience with PHP 5+ and MySQL database
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT
- Experience in API Integration (JSON and XML)
- Strong ability to work with UNIX commands and manage Linux servers
- Self-driven, does not need to be directed
- Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
