Rockstar Marketing Manager/Assistant

We’re looking for a Rockstar Marketing Manager (or Assistant) with heaps of experience to help out our small team.

Our new Marketing Manager will mostly be working with the boss (that’s me!) but will also work with the rest of our team based in Melbourne, Australia and our other Philippines based VA’s.

The person we’re looking for is going to have excellent English writing skills, fluent or near fluent. And you’ll be super organised!

I’m usually doing lots of different things at once, so I’m looking for someone:
• who likes to do lots of different tasks;
• who will ask questions when they need to;
• and who will remind me if I’ve forgotten to do something!

We have lots of fun around here, so it’s important that we find someone who has a great sense of humour, who’s enthusiastic and loves meeting challenges.

We'll be working through Skype, email and online project management software.

It's important that you have worked as a remote assistant before. We'll train you on specific tasks, but we really need someone who is ready to get started immediately.

Specifically, I want someone who can do these tasks:

• Assist with the creation of our marketing plan and our content marketing plan
• Co-ordinate writers for our articles, blog posts and product descriptions
• Proofread and edit articles, blog posts and product descriptions
• Schedule posts on Wordpress
• Find suitable stock images, or working with our graphic designer to create them
• Plan and creating weekly newsletters
• Plan and schedule promotions
• Co-ordinate new products on our ecommerce site with our marketing plan
• Track our marketing efforts
• Assist with general marketing and administrative tasks

We use asana for project management, skype to chat, hubstaff for time tracking, and dropbox for sharing files. We work with Bigcommerce, Wordpress and Klaviyo. We’ll train you on all of these if you don’t have experience using them.

You must be able to work full time, 40 hours per week. We’re Australian based, so your hours will be around 9am to 5pm AEST weekdays. You’ll need to be online at the same time as me at least 4 hours a day, and you’ll need good internet with no power issues.

I need someone who is capable of working on their own, as well as with our team here in the office, and other Philippines based VA’s.

We offer 13th month bonus, and two weeks off at Christmas. We’re looking for someone who want a permanent, full time position and who is ready to start work immediately.

Salary is negotiable - we want the best person for the job!
