Who You Are

You have a mastery of the English language, to the extent that someone in the Western world can read your writing and believe that an American was the author. You've attained that mastery through the aid of college level courses, and have a portfolio consisting of links to your work online that displays your skill with the written word. In your professional life, you enjoy working at the same types of writing tasks and becoming an expert at them over time.

What You Want Out Of Your Position

You're either currently unemployed and in search of a permanent, full-time writing position, or employed with a part time position and looking to trade that job for a full 40-hour, 5-day workweek. You would relish a stable writing job where you could set your own hours, knowing that while you will not be compensated for any hours you don't work, your position comes with the flexibility to make up any hours you must miss. It relieves you to know there will be little pressure on you to write creatively, and that you will still receive recognition for your efforts and consistency.

Working Conditions

You have a stable Internet connection and reliable computer, and you use your computer knowing that the health of it directly affects your ability to remain employed. You're comfortable with having your activities on your computer tracked during (and only during) your work shift, as proof of your productivity.

Your Strengths

You can follow instructions in great detail, and don't burn out performing the same or very similar writing tasks from day to day. You can write at a steady pace while unattended, and are focused enough to not fall prey to distractions like Facebook, texting, instant messenger clients, etc., during your work period.

When you sit down to work, you're ready to go—you give a consistent performance regardless of your mood, and understand how to give your all on bad days. You understand the importance of having a life away from your computer, and as a result have hobbies you regularly indulge in that take you away from your desk.

Your Financial Requirements

Your work is a cut above the rest, and you're confident enough in it to feel you deserve a higher opening salary than what's typical of most entry-level positions. You want a writing position where consistent hard work is rewarded with bonuses, so that when your employer benefits from your efforts, you do, too.

Our opening salary begins at $800 USD a month, and includes a $50 hiring bonus after the first 5 days. Pay will be dispensed weekly for the first 60 days of employment.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be working with content already created by a professional, and rewriting it so that it's fresh and original. All of it belongs to us; we have purchased it in a legal transaction with the author's permission to do whatever we see fit to it. Where you will come in is that it will be your job to rewrite this content on a sentence-by-sentence basis. You'll read a sentence and rewrite it in your own words so that the idea remains clear, but the end result is completely different from what you started with.
