Illustrator / Graphic Designer

Can you turn the ordinary into something extraordinary? Can you create eye-catching designs and make people say WOW? I am seeking a talented illustrator / graphic designer to create t-shirt designs. The right individual will be detail oriented and be able to produce attractive t-shirts.

You must be able to draw designs and be extremely creative. No copy/pasting clip art for these designs. I need original designs for our t-shirts.

Must be an expert in typography selection - the ability to know what fonts work well with a particular design. Typography is a very important skillset for this position.

Designs will cover a wide range of niches so you must be flexible in your design capabilities.

Ability to understand my design ideas/descriptions and turn those into creative designs. Sometimes I will provide examples of things that inspired the t-shirt idea, such as similar images, fonts, pictures, drawings, etc.

Ability to take an existing t shirt design and make it unique (not just a copy).

Some designs will require only text and some will require text with vector artwork. Must also be able to do distressed or vintage effects.

$3 per design. This is not an hourly job. I will pay you $3 per design.

3 - 6 designs per day.

Although this is part time work, I am looking for someone I can work with long term, for hundreds of designs.

You must send me 5 samples of your t-shirt design work. You can watermark your designs if you want. I will not use your designs, I only want to see the quality of your work.

If selected for an interview, I will ask you to create a t-shirt design for me. I will pay you for the design via PayPal.

Needed Skills:

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.

Excellent communication skills. Majority of communication will be through Skype and Google Sheets.

Must be familiar with Google Sheets for simple adds/edits to a spreadsheet. I will be entering all of my design ideas into a shared Google spreadsheet. You will be required to edit the spreadsheet to add comments, status, and revision information.

Must be familiar with Google Drive. You will be required to upload your source files and also a .PNG file of the design into a shared folder in Google Drive.
