Do you know German and have experience as a VA?
Then this job might be for you.
I have a medical information publishing company. To be more exact, I publish blogs, eBooks and online courses on different diseases. I am also thinking about starting a magazine-like brand but did not find the time for that yet.
On top of that, I have a few affiliate sites on various topics. But those are more for experimentation. They eat more money than they make so far.
Most sites are in German. One is in English.
So far I have a few freelancers helping me out. However, I really would need some permanent virtual staff members on board to scale my business. I do not want to invest the time explaining things to freelancers if I do not even know how long they will stick around.
You would be my first permanent hire. That is why I search for a virtual assistant to help me on all sides. In the mid-term, I plan to hire a few more permanent people for specialized tasks. You could either grow into one of those specialized roles or continue being my assistant. Depends on what your skill-set will be.
In general, I would need someone with good problem-solving skills. You should be an autodidact - able to teach yourself.
Must-have skills:
- German. However, I am not sure if I will find someone fluent here. So as long as you have some German skills, feel free to apply.
- English is important as well, as I mostly communicate with my staff in English. I also create most internal documents in English, to make them understandable for everybody.
- VA experience: you should have already worked in that role, so you know you feel comfortable in it.
*Optional* Skills:
- Wordpress: Some level of WordPress skills would be nice. You will need to create content in WordPress, format content, install and configure plugins, and do some minor bug solving. However, WordPress is not that difficult. So if you have to show some other technical skills, I could imagine you can easily learn to use WordPress.
- Health-Care / Medical / Life-Science Knowledge: most of my sites are about diseases. They help patients to find treatment. If you have some knowledge in that sector, it will help.
- Marketing experience: the main strength of my brands is marketing. The products are high-quality. But still, nobody would care if they were not marketed as they are.
- SEO is my main marketing channel. If you have some skills there, it would be useful. If not, it's not that tough to learn the basic things that are important.
--- I want to stress again that the above skills are optional. If you had all of them, you would be some kind of magic unicorn. ---
The salary is negotiable. A rough range is
Full-time hires are preferred. But other options are possible. Communication will be 99% written, as I have a voice disorder. I search help right now. If you are the right fit, we can start working together very soon.
