About the Role
AAGG has a vacancy that offers real career progression. Your role is to put together pricing and bill of quantities for prospective Tender Packages received from our clients. You will need to determine the scope of works and the product we are quoting. Being a glass company this could be either showerscreens, mirrors, aluminium windows and doors and glass balustrade to name a few.
You will need to go through the plans to extract and determine the quantities and locations for the product being quoted and input these into a BOQ spreadsheet provided by AAGG to work out costs and profits.
Once estimate is completed the manager will overlook your work before submitting to the client.

You would have experience in either one of these fields;
- Contract Administrator
- Estimator
- Quantity Surveyor
- Architect

You will be responsible for cost plan through the feasibility, budget preparation, cost estimates, account valuation, design management, change order management, tracking costs to date against budgets to final delivery.

Main activities-
Your duties and responsibilities include:

- Cost Planning
- Providing detailed Bill of Quantities for tendering and construction administration
- Tender estimates analysis and evaluation
- Contract administration
- Creating, updating and management of cost budgets
- Review and update cost estimates
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
- Review in project tender packaging
- Maintaining accurate records of tenders/submissions completed, including results
- Maintaining subcontractor and competitor databases

Key skills

- Read and Interpret Architectural Plans

- Ability to produce accurate and detailed written report
