About the role:
You are to increase sales, grow the company!!
As our Social Media and Content Manager you are the voice of our brand on social, writing copy, managing posts, discussion and content on all our channels. Your job is to package the content that our content team cranks out and publish it in an engaging and meaningful way on all platforms. You enjoy analyzing data and let that data drive your decisions.
In short, you are responsible for all social copy, community management, scheduling, communications and website article production, while continuously using data-metrics to improve your work.
We’re looking for individuals with around 3 - 4 years under their belt. You may have some agency or publisher experience, probably freelanced a bit, or maybe been a bit burnt by big sweatshops where you can’t get your work made and want to go somewhere where your idea can be crafted and in front of a large audience.

Responsibilities:
1. Content creation and scheduling
Create, edit, publish and share daily content (video, original text, images, HTML, newsletters) that builds meaningful connections and encourages audience members to take action.
Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules that maximize the relevance of and response to our content.
Produce captivating website articles with texts from our writers and images from the picture desk, adding video embeds, shortcodes, image captions, and credits.
2. Social media
Manage our presence on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube , Instagram and email and other strategically relevant online properties and optimize content within each platform to increase the visibility of our stories.
Liaise with key partners in our influencer network and seek out new relationships.
Coordinate editorial features and how they are promoted across our social media
Respond, moderate and manage comments in line with the moderation policy for each community, improving overall engagement on the channels.
Create and maintain best practice documents on the main social channels and communicate these to the wider team on a regular basis
3. Customer relations
Reply to messages from audience members
Responsible for customer support on our webshop.
Answering questions however they come in (email, Facebook messages, phone etc.) and managing any online feedback.
4. Measurement
Continuously analyze the performance of all our social media content to guide future stories, posts and strategies, sharing findings with the wider team.
Use Facebook Insights and other measurement tools to provide weekly reports on metrics.
Use spreadsheets to constantly improve the quality of your output by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices and then acting on the information.
Requirements
Passionate about the humanities (Science, History, Culture and Geography), genuinely interested in
Good quantitate and organizational skills, you’re a spreadsheet ninja and you’ve got the ability to keep oversight on key metrics of multiple initiatives at once.
Strong copywriting skills. You know how to write fun and engaging social posts that spark conversation and engagement.
Strong analytical skills but also a hands-on approach to getting things done. Fail fast, fail often mentality to trial and error.
Awareness of current social media trends and ability to quickly spot opportunities
Proven experience managing social media accounts for interesting brands and driving authentic engagement within social communities
Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
Adequate knowledge of html, CSS and SEO, experience with the Wordpress content management system.
Ability to use the Adobe Creative Suite to tailor content to individual platforms.
You have an excellent grasp of the English language. Short copy, long copy, social posts, video descriptions.
BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
Experience with E-commerce platforms s.a. Shopify a plus.
