Merchant Inventory Planner

About the Company

Position Summary
The Merchandise Planner will look after the effective and efficient planning of all Brands which includes all processes of Planning today. This position will work with the Planning & Ecomm groups assisting in assessing current Inventory Levels for all SKUs, reviewing & checking on existing Purchase Order requirements, confirming promise dates and ensuring we have coverage for all SKUs. This position will report to the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager and will be working together with the Distribution Planner providing assistance in checking Inbound Deliveries, Outbounds from factories, Slow Moving and Obsolete SKU & Inventory identification.

Job Duties:
*Daily review of Inventory Brand SKUs ensuring target stock levels and replenishments taking place on-time.
*Works closely with Distribution Planner in the scheduling and receipt of Inbound shipments from overseas to Port and Port to Distribution Point.
*Follow up on Clearance actions resulting from the Clearance Review Meeting to ensure movement (Sales) is taking place as planned.
*Review Amazon Seller Central Inventory Dashboard to identify Inventory that SSD will be charged Storage Fees unless we are able to reposition for higher sales. Notify COO of these observations as well as Supply Chain Manager.
*Review of all Stock Levels – 3 PL warehouse to ensure adequate replenishment taking place specifically for SPJ (Silver Phantom Jewelry)
At the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, monitor critical stock levels and recommend replenishment to Supply Chain Planning for both Versachalk and Silver Phantom Jewelry.
Monitor Amazon Central Seller and identify those SKUs that are low inventory and Out of Stock (OOS). Work with Supply Planning and Distribution Planning to expedite inventory relief for each SKU and report status at the Inventory Planning Meeting.
Working with the J.C. Headquarters Office Manager, monitor any outstanding order requirements of any nature to ensure all are filled and any older orders are cancelled.
Backup Supply Chain Manager with the Distribution Planner during the Weekly Ops Meetings.
