Virtual Assistant With Copywriting & Social Media Expertise

*For this job you will NOT be responsible for content writing. You will be hiring other writers for that, and editing / critiquing their work. You will be responsible for writing social media posts.

I am hiring a part time (6-10hrs a week or more with flexible working schedule) Content & Social Media Manager for my blog on small business marketing and management. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent and engaging content with our audience! It is important that you have an interest in subject and preferred that you are already follower of blogs and in this subject matter or have real world skills.

EXCELLENT English writing skills are a must!

Your tasks will be specifically as follows below. They generally take 6 - 10 hours per week. There are no specified hours, however availability between 8am and 11am eastern time for communication is preferred but not a requirement as that is when I am online along with our developers.

Tasks:
1) Follow the subject matter and audience.
Absorb the content on relevant blogs. This will be vital to all steps.

2) Come up with blog topics, and content ideas.
Each week provide of a list of 5 blog post topics ideas, and 5 pieces of micro content ideas, based on research of other blogs, engagement of audience, and the current trend of our blog posts. The micro content would be stuff like videos that I make to promote our content.

3) Find and hire writers (within budget).
You will need to find and hire writers to write the approved blog posts within our budgeted amount. We currently have 2 writers we regularly use. You will need to critique the writers content, and give feedback until it reaches our standards.

4) Edit, Format and post new blog topics.
Once blog posts are completed you will need to get them formatted on our website and optimize for engagement. Find and embed images in the content. Create a featured image.

5) Create daily social media posts to page and group.
You will need to make sure that creative, thought invoking, daily content is shared on fb page and private group. This is usually done in the form of A) links and commentary B) Image with question or quote.
