Shop Manager/Customer Service Superstar for Aussie online store

I'm looking for a skilled, reliable, passionate and dedicated person that can help take my business to the next level. This position is for a store manager of one store initially. I am looking to grow a team of people and for the right person, there is a great opportunity in this position as the stores grow other team members will come along to assist the role. The successful person shall demonstrate a willingness to learn new tasks, is passionate about customer service and strive to be part of a high-performance business that get things done, before time, without drama.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, focused person who can help us run daily operations and customer support for our fast-growing online store in Australia – in the home & garden niche.

This is not a 3000 order a month drops shipping company, it’s a high-value niche with between 50-100 orders per month and looking to grow to 300 orders per month. The niche has a passionate following and will require the person to learn as much about the niche as possible whilst working.

You will join me, the company owner, to grow the current online business and assist in the starting of other online businesses. We are looking for a long-term employee who wants to be part of a growing company/companies - not just behind the scenes person doing back-end processing.

The role includes:
- Working from home.
- 9am-5pm Mon-Fri Sydney Australia time (Currently 6am-2pm Phils time).
- 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hrs per day)
- Customer support via phone, email and live chat
- Fulfilling orders
- Organising shipping and creating shipping labels
- Product uploads and coming up with unique Product Descriptions
- Basic image editing for product images
- Updating stock inventory in line with suppliers inventory (part drop shipping store)
- Record keeping
- Communicate via email and phone with current suppliers
- Content writing

You Must:
- have Native/Close to perfect English speaking and writing skills. Be honest - If your English skills are not one of your strong points, please do not apply.
- Be Reliable. Ask yourself if you can reliably over the long-term work 9am-5pm Sydney Australia time. If you’re constantly late to work or unreliable, please look elsewhere.

The following attributes are highly favoured:
- Have a willingness to learn about the niche and products to be able to sell them with passion.

- Experience with Shopify e-commerce platform ideally, but other e-commerce platform experience would suffice.
- Customer support experience. Ideally an absolute ninja at handling customer queries and complaints.
- Interested in ongoing work - this is a long-term position
- Experience dealing with Australian or overseas customers would be ideal.
- Meticulously organised
- Great communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Ability to follow a template and learn new skills

Skills are great but above all, we need someone who is reliable and can learn and put training into practice efficiently and who can communicate with us on all issues.
