Who We Are
Hello, my name is Jared Wilson and I am the President of Chromium Group, LLC. We service an in house portfolio of mortgages backed by real estate outside of Dallas, TX (United States).
We are a small, but growing company and are experiencing quite a bit of growth. This has pushed the need for us to hire another team member such as yourself.
Since our company does not require someone to be physically located with our customers, I would like offer this new position to you.
You’re probably wondering if you would be our first Filipino team member?
Actually, No. We currently have 2 team members who are from the Philippines like yourself. Dyan lives in Kuala Lumpur and she is our lead manager, and Anna lives in Iloilo City, and she is one of our Service Managers, like hopefully you will be.
If you’re wondering what you would be doing?
The job title is “Client Service Manager”. Therefore, your duties would be to provide service to our mortgage borrowers (“clients”) by tracking their payments, answering incoming calls and texts and sending mail. We will provide all needed software and training to accomplish this virtually from the Philippines. No mortgage experience is necessary.
So, why should you join us over anyone and everyone else?
If you would like…
1) a steady pay check with the chance for bonuses based on performance,
2) the opportunity to work from home without a boss breathing down your neck,
3) a team environment where you work with others to share the work, and
4 ) flexible working hours (except for meetings)
…then this is a job you will enjoy and excel at.
Am I for real?
You don’t have to take my word for it. Here is what Anna Mateo and Dyan Bellen says about working on the team:
How to know if you’re qualified for this opportunity?
I don’t care if you have prior experience in this field at all. I can teach you everything you need to know in order to excel at your job.
What I do care about is whether you’re going to be the “right fit” for our team. I have to make sure you will gel with our family because we’re so small and everyone has to work well together.
What I can’t teach you is to how to have a good attitude and to be self-motivated. These are things you must demonstrate in the interview process.
A successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:
* A can do attitude, and the ability to work without constant supervision
* Be able to speak in conversational English and write in English as well
* Knowledge of word, excel, publisher, gmail, and general ability to use windows based software
* Have or be willing to obtain Internet fast enough to allow
* Working microphone and internet video camera
I will provide training on all software and procedures as well as phone accounts should you need to dial out, etc.
Scared this job is in the dead of night? (Don’t worry its not, well not totally)
As I’m sure you’re aware, most outsourced jobs require you to stay up into the dead of night so that you can be available for U.S. working hours. Working this late at night forces you to sleep during the day and creates a physical strain on your body.
Therefore, I have designed this job to have flexible hours. Most all of your work could be completed on your own time, meaning PHT hours that you choose; with the exception of communicating with me and other staff members and then to our clients.
So we will need to design in time to talk during the week. Maybe you could work U.S. mornings sometimes which would mean your evenings some times. I’m not sure. We would have to work out the hours together.
What happens next?
Since our jobs are so popular we generally get deluged with applicants. So I have designed a two part interview process to make the process as simple and efficient for all parties.
The first part of the interview process is designed to examine your English-speaking skills and ability to write in English. We also test your internet speed to determine if it is fast enough or can be upgraded if you get the job.
If you make it through round one, we will talk via video chat to determine if you are a good fit for the team and ultimately offer the job to someone.
How to Apply
Therefore, to submit your application for the job, please complete all of the following and
1) Please respond to the following interview questions and submit them to me:
2) Please read the poem at the link below into your microphone and send me an audio recording. There are free services or tutorials online that can help you record an MP3 if you need help:
3) Please perform an internet speed test at
4) Please include a link to your onlinejobs.ph profile as well
5) Please provide 3-5 references who would say good things about you, with not more than 1 being an immediate family member. The references do not have to be business associates- pastors, teachers, friends are welcome as well.
Thank you, I look forward to working with you.
