Full-time Graphic Designer

Hi! I’m David from ---------- , an iPhone help website visited about 1.8 million people / month.

We’re looking to hire a full-time graphic designer for our website and other projects. More specifically, we’re looking for an artist — not just someone who knows how to use Photoshop or Illustrator.

You need to be able to:
Use Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator to create original graphic art without using stock images
Understand the difference between JPEGs and PNGs and when to use both
Compress images for web
Upload images directly to WordPress
Export images at specific resolutions and maintain their aspect ratios
Design images that look great on multiple platforms (e.g. website, Facebook, Twitter)
Design images for multiple devices (e.g. desktop, tablet, mobile)

Your roles will include:
Creating 2560 x 1440 featured images for articles
Creating additional images for the body of articles
Creating 1280 x 720 YouTube thumbnails
Creating custom graphics / icons for the website to create a unified “look and feel”

The following skills are a must:
Understanding of website design is a big plus
Understanding of user experience (UX) is a big plus
Social media management experience (especially Pinterest and Instagram) is a big plus

All employees are required to:
- Participate in daily video chats
- Install time tracking software on their computers
