Experienced Web Developer needed for a UK based business education company

I am a busy entrepreneur who is currently looking to hire a new team member who can assist with the web development for an online course that I run to help business owners.

I am looking to hire an enthusiastic and ambitious Front-end Web Developer ideally with previous agency experience to work on new and existing websites and web applications.

The successful applicant will be working in unison with the whole team so there is huge potential to broaden their experience of the entire web design process..

This is a permanent role with an initial 3-month probationary period.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You need to be able to pay attention to detail and have the ability to follow instructions carefully.

Excellent understanding of spoken English is essential, and you need to be accomplished at writing in the English language.

I am looking for someone who is self-motivated and an accurate but fast worker.

The individual needs to be professional and reliable and have a ‘Can Do Attitude’!


RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will include coding signed off designs into working web page templates in Wordpress, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript and then integrating those into content management systems.

The role will include communication in order to keep the leadership team informed of your progress as well as handling feedback.

The role will also necessitate providing estimates for timescales.

REQUIREMENTS

* Knowledge of Wordpress, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
* A passion for the web and an eagerness to learn.
* Superb written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* An ability to work autonomously and manage your workload and deadlines effectively.
* A readiness to embrace and use new approaches and to keep up-to-date with industry advances.
* A relevant university degree.
* Prior web design agency experience.
* Interaction design understanding, with a passion for usability and accessibility.
* Obsession for building lightning fast sites.
* Good understanding of SEO principles.
* Ability to output clean, commented, and team-friendly code.


THE VACANCY SPECIFICATIONS

I run an online course which helps small business owners systemise and outsource their work.

To promote the work that I am doing with my online course, I am looking to launch a new marketing campaign. You will be involved in ensuring that all of our websites are designed to our brand specification and remains consistent on all marketing materials.

The hours will be 20-40 hours per week, and there is the possibility of full-time employment for outstanding employees!


OUR COMPANIES PAY AND BENEFITS

* Pay rate: ---------- PHP per hour
* You will get paid on a Tuesday via PayPal
* A bonus will be paid for exception work
* Your pay will increase based on the standard of your work
* You will be given holiday and sick pay if you become a permanent and long-term staff member
* We pay 13th month as standard (pro-rata)
