JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for a social media and wordpress/website manager for an educational program that caters to homeschoolers.

Responsibilities will include:

" Managing and creating daily posts for Facebook, Twitter and ----------
o Will also respond to comments
" Updating WordPress website as needed, including:
" Drafting new blog posts
" Creating featured images using Canva
" Optimizing for SEO using the Yoast WordPress PlugIn
o Maintaining PlugIn Updates
o Moderating Comments
o Creating new pages as needed
o Uploading and maintaining team profiles (pics and bios)
o Uploading pictures to the photo gallery
" Setting up event registrations
o Coordinating announcements of these events on Social Media
o For some, you will also be creating Facebook events
" Possibly assisting with the development of the weekly newsletter
o Big bonus if you are familiar with Adobe ID and have a good eye for design
Maintain email data base using Constant Contact
Maintain public calendar (Google Calendar)

The ideal candidate will have excellent written English communication skills, proficient in WordPress and social media platforms and quickly respond to emails. We would like someone that is homeschooling their own children, but will consider others that can catch on quickly.

This position will require approximately 10-15 hours a week.
