Senior PHP Web Developer/ Webmaster

Summary
Dynamic young startup seeks all-round web developer and general IT geek to work from home.
The role involves the building, running and tracking of 20+ websites. This will involve the transition to a centralised database-driven CMS, so an understanding of logical architecture in terms of file structure and database creation is critical. The successful candidate will be proficient in PHP/HTML/CSS/MySQL/AJAX/JQuery, and will understand how to build SEO-optimized web and mobile pages. He/she will have built and run high traffic websites, and will be fluent in English. The role involves work with adult content.

Key Responsibilities
Building SEO-optimized websites and mobile sites in html/php/css (Dreamweaver)
Designing and building new tailored landing pages
Building MySQL database-driven custom CMS for web/mobile pages and storage of basic customer data
Developing data capture/database storage (from web forms)
Developing data export processes and crons
Ad hoc basic web design


Key Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Strong PHP
• Strong HTML/CSS (Dreamweaver)
• Strong MySQL
• Strong Ajax
• Understanding of Jquery
• Experienced using CMS platforms to release high volume of web pages
• Experienced using version control (Git/Subversion)
• Strong understanding of SEO-optimized page build methods, and page speed load optimization
• Experienced in building robust website architecture/file structures
• Strong understanding of image/Javascript tracking and pixel implementation/issue debugging
• Understanding of data export methods (e.g. XML feeds)
• Experienced in using Photoshop for basic site design/asset requirements
• Understanding of SEO an advantage, likewise knowledge of Google Analytics tracking/reporting
• Experience building mobile-optimized pages an advantage
• Experience with JSON.
• Web server (Linux / cpanel WHM) are an advantages – changes to .htaccess. Installing software such as Tracking202/CPVLAB, shell access. We do not expect you to be a systems administrator, but basic problem solving skills are desired.

Salary/Working Hours
500 -900 USD / 21,000 - 40,000 PHP per month + Bonus.
Full time: 40hrs per week

Employment Term
Initial 3 month ‘contractor’ agreement, thereafter rolling with 1 month notice period. Contract on-going.
