FULL-TIME Node.js Developer (US Employer, Home-based work)

• Use javascript for both client-side and server-side
development

• Strong CS background.
• Knowledge of the following technologies: node.js, mysql, one or more of php/perl/python/ruby, and one or more of redis/mongodb/memcached/hadoop
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Passionate about delivering quality code
• Expertise in massive scaling and designing systems and components
• Ability to create fault tolerant services
• Experience with git and github
• Experience with Agile Development Methodology
• Experience using Node for things beyond HTTP
• Experience with non-HTTP protocols, with Socket.io, (WebSockets package for Node which makes interactive, multi-user web applications possible)
• Clear and effective communication skills
