EXPERIENCED MARKETER NEEDED: PRODUCT RESEARCH AND SOCIAL MEDIA (FB, PINTEREST, INSTAGRAM)

MARKETING ASSISTANT- RESEARCH/WRITING SOCIAL MEDIA
We are a US-based online retailer of apparel and accessories looking for an organized and resourceful Marketing Assistant to grow with our team. This position starts part-time (20 hours/week) and quickly moves to full-time (40 hours/week), based on your progress. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• RESEARCH: you will follow processes to research popular products and designs for e-commerce (AMAZON, ETSY, SHOPIFY stores). You will collect data and images, organize/sort and present them in various documents. You will research consumer trends, whats hot! and help find sources for new products
• WRITING: you must understand KEYWORDS/SEO to write excellent product listings that are search friendly and get our audience excited! You will write posts for social media, e-communication to vendors/customers and some web content. You will create/edit photos for listings
• SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING: you will create fan pages, write posts, tweet, pin, post photo; Fb, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest Boards, etc. to target/communicate with potential customers, showcase products and drive traffic to various e-comm sites. You will create and resize product photos/artwork as needed.
• PROJECT MANAGEMENT: you will create project timelines and tasks in the system for yourself and our artists to manage the creative/design process, product postings and social media tasks.
• QUALITY CONTROL: you will proofread all designs/listings and check designs for copyright and trademark clearance.

SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
• Strong Experience with Social Media Marketing, including FB posts, fan pages, FB groups; Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Reddit, etc.
• Good communicator with good English speaking/writing skills
• Must be able to create, edit, sort and tabulate Excel spreadsheets, and present data in a clear and concise format for others to use
• Strong internet researcher
• Familiar with Amazon, EBay, Etsy, Shopify and Print-On-Demand platforms (Merch by Amazon, Redbubble, Teepublic, Printful, etc.)
• Able to learn/use online research tools quickly (via video tutorial or written)
• Ability to manage daily workload to complete work correctly and on time
• Microsoft Office, Word and Excel proficient
• Basic knowledge of Illustrator or Photoshop for creating/editing or resizing marketing images
• Very reliable internet connection and computer, with up to date software
• Ability to Skype during business hours, as needed
• Self-motivated, can complete projects correctly and on-time, with little oversight
