***We will pay $500/month to start, with an opportunity for growth in compensation and responsibilities in the next 6 months.

Job Summary:

• This team member will coordinate inventory, products, and vendors – our product supply chain.
• Project sales and inventory for all products (currently about 6-10 “hot sellers”)
• Place and negotiate orders with vendors.
• Find new vendors for new products and to decrease costs, shorten timeframes, and/or increase quality on current products.
• Find ways to save money over the long-run
• Negotiate with vendors
• Find alternative vendors
• Shipping costs (to FF and to customers)
• Evaluate product quality.
• Think through product use – is it designed correctly? Could it be designed better? Does it work? Does it look cheap?
• Think everything through from a customer’s perspective…will they want to buy more? Other products? Do they have a good experience?
• Work w/ our customer service team periodically to see what customers are saying and modify supply chain based on that.
• Manage product deliver from order to our fulfillment centers
• Track air shipments, create ASNs, and work w/ fulfillment centers to get products updated in the system.
• Track boat shipments.
• Monitor and find “stuck” shipments – work w/ FedEx, UPS, etc to clear customs.
• Design product packaging with the rest of the team
• Collect data and create reports (in Excel, Word, Google Sheets, etc.)
• Do various research projects
• Complete various weekly tasks
• Record videos and create instruction of our standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Identify issues and trends that customers are saying, doing, etc.
• Many other items that will likely come up down the road...

Requirements:
• Must be able to work some hours (3-4hrs) on “US” time (8am-5pm MST) and some on China time (9-11pm MST) (3-4hrs) to be able to coordinate with our Chinese vendors, our American vendors, and our American fulfillment companies.
• Must have a good computer and a reliable and fast Internet connection.
• Has a backup plan for when the power goes out.
