Research Team Manager Position

We would love to have you join our team! We are a fast-growing start up with very ambitious goals.

We are looking for a manager for a team of 16 people who do simple data collection via Google search. This is a fully remote position so good internet connection and great communication skills are required.
You will work full time Monday to Friday on a flexible schedule but with at least 1 weekly meeting at night (around 21hs) because of the time difference.

Your job will be to:
- Communicate directly with the Team’s Director, making plans together and deciding on optimal goals and deadlines.
- Reporting every day on progress, comparing yourselves to your goals and making decisions if necessary.
- Assigning work to all team members, answering their questions, helping them to reach their goals and monitoring their work. Communication will be extremely important to make sure your team succeeds as a whole.
- Creating payroll reports

- Constantly developing and learning new systems to make work organized and efficient
- Using Excel to clean up the data collected by your team

Criteria the applicant must meet (applicants that don’t meet these requirements won’t be taken into consideration):
- High level of critical thinking and proactivity
- Proficient level of english (spoken and written)
- Intermediate level of Excel*
- Experience supervising a team of at least 3 people for a year or more
- Have your own computer and a minimum of 3mbps internet connection and Excel
- Know how to use Skype
- College level
- Great attention to detail
