We are currently looking for an ACCOUNTANT with a background in inventory management or inventory control

Description
Restructure and organize the month-end closing process
Create processes for maintaining accurate inventory levels
Develop and improve financial & business reporting

Essential
Advanced accounting knowledge, particularly around inventory based businesses
Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel
Reliable, organized, and trustworthy with sensitive data
Data driven, analytical thought process – can quickly sense if numbers are off
Able to make sensible, independent judgements

Responsibilities
Assist with weekly and monthly close process
Ensure suppliers are paid on time
Bank reconciliation & account categorization
Preparing financial reports and gather data on the business
Preparing invoices for wholesale customers
Working with Inventory Management System (Dear Inventory) to ensure accurate inventory levels

Dedicated and loyal - This is a full-time long term position. Outside work is discouraged but not prohibited. The person filling this position is not allowed to take outside work or freelance work without expressed permission from the company.
