About the Role:
Social Media specialist for an extremely fun and creative project in the electronic dance music industry. The ideal candidate would have a strong interest in the edm music world + have good fashion sense. Must know how to speak in a more alternative way 'underground street slang' We want someone who is really hip and quirky and extremely creative but still professional and responsible. This will be a really fun job for the right person.
You should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels.
Responsibilities
Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Listen to the audience, learn what they want to see, hear, rand ead about
- Build and grow social community
Develop contests, events, etc to support the growth and engagement of the audience.
- Use Canva.com to create Social Media Graphics or make your own.
Edit videos
Tasks to include, but not limited to:
• Finding and commenting on relevant Instagram accounts or blog posts
• Finding and engaging in forums
• Posting comments to social media
• Manage and update Social Media Accounts
• Tracking of Social Media Accounts

• High speed Internet connection is a MUST!
• Hard-wired computer connection is a MUST!
Someone looking to have their hand held constantly should probably not apply. We have some training – however at that time we expect you to work without close supervision.
