Do you have great Online Marketing Skills? We need a great VA for Content Creation, Social Media for ecommerce sites

We are a Canadian company looking for a creative individual with marketing experience to develop content and manage online promotion for a group of e-commerce sites selling recreational vehicle parts and accessories. The position will involve creation of content marketing for SEO, management of product catalog descriptive and marketing texts, management of marketing channels such as email marketing, and management of our social media presence.

Our current catalog is wide ranging, covering about 45000 products in 150 categories. While we do not expect expertise in our specific product market, applicants should be quick learners, eager to improve their knowledge, and have the proven ability to do efficient and effective web research. The product knowledge required is not generally highly technical, but there is some degree of understanding of the product applications that needs to be acquired.

Initial focus of the position will be improvements to our online catalog, including descriptions for products, categories, and manufacturers, along with creation of on-page and off-page articles for SEO. This will allow the employee to develop the product knowledge required for future projects and marketing efforts.

Medium and long-term, as the catalog development is more complete, the employee will shift primary focus to more marketing oriented tasks such as additional SEO article creation, social media management, etc.

You will be working with North American management and a second Filipino employee who will specialize in the web development, technical SEO, search engine marketing and IT aspects of the project.

The successful candidate will have good research and English language writing skills, including experience in writing for SEO applications. Flexible hours are possible, but initially some specified evening or early morhing hours maybe be required to faciliate direct collaboration across time zones with North America.

Preference will be given to candidates who have related creative and marketing experience and who can provide samples of such work and references from firms they have worked for. Experience working with the Prestashop E-commerce platform is a benefit, but is not necessary.
