Video Editor for weddings

We're looking for someone who's really talented and experienced in editing video with Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Lots of people consider themselves a good or even great editor, but we compete in a market where the quality and creativity are world class. We have to deliver videos that are much better than just 'good'.

We aim for a fun, classy, vintage, and cinematic feel. As we shoot in flat (almost log) camera profiles, grading is a required skill. We usually shoot with multiple cameras, making the edit a little more difficult. Apart from that, making the most of the varying audio we have, is the next most important skill.

A good understanding of how fussy brides can be will help you appreciate the pressure we're under to deliver an amazing product, on time. Editors who don't deliver on agreed time frames, or don't respond for extended periods of time, damage our reputation, so this is not something we can work with.

Weddings are very seasonal in Australia, so the work peaks at some times of the year, and drops to a trickle at others. So any extra skills you have in administration, SEO, websites, etc, might mean we can find more work during the quieter months.
