JOB OVERVIEW

Are you a fun, friendly, dependable VA interested in writing, graphic design, and social
media work? If so, I need YOU! I’m the CEO of a new and growing online brand and I need
someone to join me part-time (with room to grow into full-time). The first project I’d
like my VA to focus on is helping me grow my social media accounts; however, once a streamlined
social media game plan is in place, I’ll also need help with the following:

DUTIES
• Create written podcast summaries for publishing on the blog (“show notes”)
• Rewrite, reorganize, and reformat transcripts into blog posts
• Format blog posts (Add titles and subtitles, photos, bullet points, links, etc)
• Ongoing email management - organize, sort, and reply to emails, either “as” me
or “for” me.
• Set up landing/opt-in pages in wordpress and integrate with
my email autoresponder
• Setup “thank you” pages for opt-in pages using pre-designed templates in
wordpress
• Schedule social media updates in hootsuite
• Pull out quotes/highlights from existing podcasts/blog posts/existing content
and turn into text-based and visual social media updates
• Create social media graphics and my branded templates from quotes/highlights
• Create FB ad graphics and make sure they are in the 20% text rule
• Onboard new clients (i.e. send them welcome email or schedule preliminary
phone/skype calls as necessary)
• Create blog post graphics using my branded templates
• Upload podcast audio to Soundcloud and add pictures
• Lookup individuals requesting access to my private, paid facebook group to verify
payment
• Create new lists and sign-up forms in my email autoresponder service
• Setup email campaigns in my email autoresponder service based on my provided
written text and images (format, add images, etc)
• Reply to new member emails using pre-written responses
• Keep a simple list of my published podcasts up-to-date
• Handle customer inquiries (email)
• Lookup receipts/resend receipts to customers
• Transcribe all audio content
• Monitoring and manage Facebook groups
• Enforce facebook group rules and guidelines
• Format blog posts in wordpress

SKILLS
The above is not an exhaustive list but it should give you an idea of the kind of work
I’m looking for. All of the above tasks are completely “teachable” so if there’s something
on the list you don’t have experience doing, don’t worry as I’m willing to train
you.

I do require, however, that you have the following skills:
• Excellent English Writing
• Excellent English Communication Skills
• Excellent Time Management (can finish tasks promptly)
• Social Media Management Skills
• Familiar with Wordpress
• Transcription Skills
• Customer Support Skills
• Detail oriented
• High level of organization and ability to prioritize
• Follows instructions well
• Honest
• Takes initiative, handles feedback well, and generally takes pride in their work

As mentioned earlier, I want any VA considered to start with helping me increase my social media presence by engagement, and posting consistent. (I will of course pay you for this.) If you perform this first project well, I will keep you as my official part-time VA to perform the above listed
previously.

WORKING HOURS
I am in the CST (GMT -6) timezone. Availability during my timezone is a plus but definitely
not required. All of the duties I require, for the most part, can be performed at
any time. I just ask that you provide a me with a simple, daily email outlining the activities
performed when you finish so that I can review during my own working hours.

COMPENSATION
You tell me! :-) I am US based and will be paying for up to 20 hours of work per week,
so please respond with the hourly rate you require. All payments will be made via PayPal.
If this interests you, please reply to this posting! I am looking to get started ASAP!
