Our group is looking to hire a talented HR specialist to assist with finding & hiring skilled employees and freelancers who are a good fit for the positions that we are looking to fill. Some positions that need to be filled will be full time, some part time and some project based.
Our group includes two companies. The 1st company is an established marketing firm which has been around for 3+ years. Our firm designs ads for 5 newspapers and also offers marketing services that are guided by strategy and optimized for wealth. We are in the midst of launching a 2nd company that will provide high quality outsourced employees and will also leverage the global talent market.
We believe that all work that we do should be high quality and also firmly believe in treating our employees with respect and providing a positive and happy environment for them to grow in.
The person that we hire should possess the following qualifications:
Access
• Knows how to find & access talented people. The position will involve posting job openings and spreading the word. The right person knows where to post and how to spread the word.
Deep Understanding of People
• Able to interview various candidates and test people’s skills.
• Takes the time to get to know each candidate. Understands what motivates each candidate and their strengths and weaknesses.
• Can then suggest what type of position would be the best fit for that candidate.
Matchmaking!
• Understands the requirements for each job or project and is able to find the perfect person to fill it.
Ongoing Management and Motivation
• Manages our employees and freelances on an ongoing basis.
• Assists them with problems that come up
• Motivates them
• Makes sure that their work is being done correctly and finished before the deadline
This position will start off part time and grow into full time. Must be able to work during US eastern standard time hours.
