Job Summary
The Photography Studio Assistant supports the daily operation of a new, busy in-house photo studio for a advertising and photography studio. This includes technical support, scheduling, overseeing equipment photographers use on a daily basis, as well as understanding lighting set-up for still photography, video, on set trouble shooting and inefficiencies. It is fast-paced and creative as well as collaborative and innovative.
Responsibilities and Duties
-Schedule studio time
-Help in the set-up and break down of photo sets and manage all photos equipment
-Keep inventory of equipment currently used within studio
-Assist photographers on outdoor shoots as necessary
-Light retouching and processing of all photographs selected by clients.
