Front End Magento Developer

The role

We’re on the look out for a Front End Developer who ideally has experience of working with large, scalable web applications, preferably in the eCommerce space. Main responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering HTML, CSS and JavaScript using Magento. Working alongside our UK based Magento developers you will work to deliver experiences for desktop, tablet and mobile. There will be opportunities to work in a responsive context. You will be a team player, who can self-start and isn’t afraid to ask questions and a good communicator with excellent time management skills. Having exceptional attention to detail and taking pride in your work is essential.

Hours

12 Noon - till 7pm - this gives a good overlap with both UK and NZ time zones where both our offices are based.

Required skills and experience:

3 - 4 years experience
Object oriented JavaScript.
HTML.
CSS.
Working knowledge of version control.
Ideally:
Magento experience.
eCommerce experience.
Experience of building mobile sites.
Working knowledge of PHP.
Responsive Web Development.
Working knowledge of XML.
Workflow automation e.g. Grunt.
Passionate about page performance.
JavaScript MVC frameworks e.g. Backbone.js, AngularJS or React.
Nice to have:

Experience of working with JavaScript testing frameworks (e.g. Casper, Jasmine).
Experience of working with an enterprise eCommerce platform, such as Magento Enterprise.
