WHO ARE WE?

We're an online publishing company that creates digital training courses that give entrepreneurs cutting edge tactics to take their business to the next level. Our flagship product, was featured in Forbes as "the world's premiere education in online hiring and outsourcing for entrepreneurs" and went to a multi-six figure level in our first 6 months of launching. We’re creating a TON of video content, and we need an amazing and super-funny video editor to help us edit our video, manage our video production team and deliver our message to the world in a way that’s both informational and entertaining.

UNICORN CAVEAT:

In our experience working with editors, there's great video editors, and there are people who are great with comedy. You are that gem who is BOTH. We already have an incredible video editor who’s excited to work with you on making our video content even funnier than it already is! But comedy needs to be your genius zone.

WHO ARE YOU?

You’re hilarious! You’re the friend in the group that always makes people laugh and can turn any situation into a funny one. You’re also a wizard when it comes to editing video and piecing together content. You can take any project and turn it up a notch to make it that much more appealing and fun to watch.

Ideally, you would love human psychology, and are curious about marketing, but you definitely understand what makes people look charismatic, warm, funny, and intelligent and are able to put together the right clips to capture that.

You’re also a great team player. We work with editors from all corners of the globe, and we need an organized and creative team member to help manage projects and make sure that all of our videos are consistent and in line with our overall branding and objectives.

THIS JOB IS FOR YOU IF:

You have a portfolio of funny videos under your belt and experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017 and After Effects as a video editor
You’re naturally funny and know how to transform content so that it’s super entertaining but still informational
You learn new skills rapidly and independently - you don't need anyone to hold your hand through the learning process
You are very detail oriented and organized!
When it comes to getting things done quickly, you're on it - you're incredibly time efficient (without sacrificing accuracy) and love checking things off your to do list. You're great at looking at large tasks and breaking them up into small, manageable milestones.
You strive to be the best in everything that you do. Success - both personal and professional - is important to you.
You're a person with a lot of self motivation - you like working with and contributing to a team, but you're also content to spend a big chunk of your time working on your own
You're extremely goal-oriented and love finishing projects. Leaving things unfinished just isn't in your ---------- iends and family describe you as: honest to a fault, hardworking, optimistic, upbeat, sincere, trustworthy, and 10,000% reliable.

THIS JOB IS PROBABLY NOT FOR YOU IF:

You don't have a portfolio of at least 6-10 funny videos that you’ve done
You don't have at least 10-20 hours a week to dedicate to the position
You don’t have a sense of humor and cracking jokes seems like a waste of time to you
You struggle with time management, and projects sometimes take you significantly longer than you thought they would
You have trouble speaking your mind when conflict comes up - or you speak your mind too harshly
You're really enthusiastic about starting new projects, but you're not as great at finishing them
"Deadline" feels like a scary word
