VA Needed For Fast-Growing Marketing Company

WHO WE ARE: a growing marketing company that sells products online in the golf, dating, and spirituality markets.

WHO WE NEED: A hard-working, dependable, reliable individual who is willing to learn new things and continually help our organization grow.

The successful candidate will have a "can do" attitude, is able to independently research solutions to problems (using either Google or our company database), is a quick learner, and loves working and meeting challenges.

In addition, you have excellent time management, good written English skills, and a love of tackling new challenges.

IMPORTANT: Some of our work involves clients in the men's dating space. Occasionally you may have to add an image of a woman in a bikini to our email program. If you're not okay with this, this is not the job for you.

Duties for this position include:

*Responding to customer service emails (guiding them through minor technical issues, refunding payments, etc)
*Loading emails into Ontraport
*Data entry into spreadsheets and calculating basic numbers like percentages
*Organizing our online filing system (Google Drive)
*Communicating via email, Slack, and Trello
*Submitting various forms and emailing files etc to different people
*Creating videos or text documents of various procedures (basically, a video or text walkthrough of how to do something simple)

HOW TO MAKE SURE YOU GET THIS JOB

Much like when you work for me, I want you to succeed. So I'm going to give you a few pointers here to help you put your best foot forward...

1) We'll be receiving a LOT of submissions (we always do.) That means you need to STAND OUT.

2) Don't send a copy & paste form submission. I can see them a mile away. If you're going to apply, at least have a few paragraphs telling me why you are UNIQUELY talented to deliver in this position. Maybe you have experience in a previous job that's makes you the perfect candidate. Maybe you can deliver something no one else can. Maybe you just know a really funny joke!

4) Answer the following questions:
a) What web-based apps are you familiar with?
b) What app or piece of software had the biggest learning curve for you? What was the greatest technical challenge you had with it, how did you overcome it, and what did you learn from the experience?
c) If you were told I needed something done but not given instructions to do it, how would you likely go about figuring out how to do it, in a way that ensured your work was fast and accurate?
d) This isn't a question, but please NOTE: I will want to speak to at least one (but ideally two) of your previous employers. Please provide contact information for them. If you can't do that, don't bother applying.

5) Include a resume in your email. Microsoft Word or PDF format is fine. Again, if you don't have this, you will not be considered.

6) I'm in PST time (Los Angeles) so tell me what hours you would be working, and what days, in PST time. Also let me know how flexible you are working weekends when necessary and if you're willing to do overtime if the need arises.
