Seeking an experienced and successful Website Developer who is fluent in English language to work on, and in a timely and agreed timeframe to develop a PCI compliant new multi vendor / seller website, using either CS Cart Multivendor software or Magento.
The website must be fully responsive and mobile friendly on iOS and Android, with an up to date Sales-focussed Home page/Theme, SEO friendly, Social Media enhanced
The main seller group are sellers based in an Emerging Markets location, however some sellers could be globally based.
The main initial target markets for buyers are in the West - UK and USA mainly to start.
Some Key Example standard Requirements and considerations – Most are Already integrated into the Software or via Plug-ins, and some Customization would be required
• Usernames which should not be
• Notifications to go out via
• Admin/s see all correspondence, per Admin Level set by Master Admin
• Buyer does not pay the shipping at full price per item if a buyer buys more than one item from the same seller in one transaction
• Shipping integrations activated by the Admin – DHL, Emerging Markets location/s are most important, plus Royal Mail UK, and DPD UK for example – Seller to be able to set up show 2 different shipping carriers with prices for the buyer to choose from
• Insurance to be able to be added by the seller for buyer to select as optional.
• Tax – normally set at Admin level by Country shipped from and area shipped to. Also for example - if the Seller is in the UK, then the Admin can set Tax at 20% VAT for products shipped to UK based addresses. And no VAT charged for products shipped to non-UK or non-EU countries.) Developer to give advice on this in particular.
• Tax – Admin to be able to allow sellers on an ad hoc basis to set their own tax levels – maybe
• Tax levels should also relate to Category level. Eg Category 1 products shipped from Country X might have a different tax level to Category 2 shipped from the same Country X
• Seller may have to have 2 levels of contact information, 1 for shipping, and another for them receiving payments from the website for their sales money less Admin Commission, as some in Africa may be ‘un-banked,’ and may not have personal bank accounts
• May need to strip out some of the Seller back-end or make inactive or active by Admin, as some or a lot of Sellers will not be very tech minded/techie, so less for them to see may be better
The more Straight Through Processing – (STP) the better
